UPCYCLE. CREATIVE REUSE. REPURPOSE. SCRAP. LOVE.

Lynclair is one of the few artists labeled as Upcyle Artist in the Nashville community.  She considers herself in the group of self-taught artists who create what is termed to be “outsider art” for her lack of formal training and her focus on immediate surroundings, personal experiences and inner visions.  Lynclair’s work is characterized as abstract pieces utilizing re-purposed materials to create unique textures, shapes and designs.  Her main Artistic influences and inspirations range from Picasso, to other upcycle artists including Mr. Charlie Lucas, “The Tin Man”, and Mr. Lonnie Holley, “The Sand Man”. With a conscience for the environment and discovering beauty in the most peculiar materials, Lynclair continues to create unique colorful pieces out of what most would consider “trash”, and has hopes of creating a desire for upcycled art in the Nashville community.
